Born an artist, aspiring to legend, Tyris expresses himself through poetry, drawing, and painting. From freshman year to senior year of high school, Tyris held a continuous first place streak at the AV Art Fair. In 2019, Tyris was a member of the Scratch Team, which took first place at Get Lit's Classic Slam. Tyris’ passion is to inspire others to be vulnerable with themselves, for in vulnerability there lies honesty and the seeds to create poetry for healing.
