Madyson Park is a word artist residing in Los Angeles. She has competed all across the state of California in various poetry slams, including her first-place win two years in a row at OCRYSE. She also placed in the semi-finals at the

2017 Get Lit Classic Slam. Madyson has appeared on national television, including performing her work on the FX show Better Things. She purposefully demonstrates how it feels to be a young, Asian American woman in today’s society. When she isn’t writing, she is finding ways to reach out to her community through social/political activism. Her work is a constant reminder to always remember where she came from and how she got to where she is today.
