Lee Blankenship is a freshman at Santa Monica College. They were the highest scoring poet in the 2017 Get Lit Classic Slam and have been featured in three episodes of Get Lit's flagship web series "Get Lit NOW." During the March for Our Lives event in Washington D.C., Lee spoke against gun violence in a video following Miley Cyrus' performance on the main stage. Lee is also a youth ambassador of peace for the United Nations.
